Native Shoes TM, a casual and lite footwear brand from Vancouver, Canada, launches its 2018 Holiday Collection, Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Centrio Ayala Mall. Signature EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) shoes, Native Shoes announces its latest style: the bling glitter, velvet, and metallic, to add sparkle to your holiday groove. With its lite and easy to clean material mainly of ethylene vinyl acetate, Native Shoes can quickly come and go clean with just a wipe.

“We are Beast Free since day one,” Native Shoes TM Philippines Senior Brand Executive PJ Chua said. “It has been an integral part of our brand. Not a hair nor hide on any animal, anywhere, has been used in creation of our product. We’ve been certified by PETA as an approved vegan brand.” Why Native? Basically Native Shoes TM is everywhere around the world making it native in every locale.

Native Shoes TM’s philosophy “Keep it Lite” adheres to its responsibility to the environment by choosing materials that don’t hurt the nature, and recycling old pairs and upcycling them into another usable item such as playmats for kids.

“It has been a concern for me, as a mother,” Nicole Abas Datayan, CDO’s lifestyle TV host and product endorser, said when asked about her thoughts on recycling old pairs of Native Shoes. “Babies grow fast so that baby things are usually handed onto relatives for reuse. But after that, what happens? We tend to declutter our homes but some (of these old items) could just be thrown anywhere, they could end up littering in the ocean, endangering our marine life. I’m just glad Native Shoes is doing this recycling program as part of their social responsibility.”

Native Shoes TM Centrio Ayala Mall kicked off celebration of the Holidays by holding a game for working moms and their kids. Joined by Primer Group executives, Ms. Norgelyn Bihag and Edgar Rabino, six pairs of mothers and kids frolicked in a game inspired by “Bet On Your Baby” show. The moms were tasked to draw fruits on the white board and the kids must be able to determine the fruit drawn on the white board and get the plastic fruit on a kiddie inflatable pool. The first pair to complete the task won the game.

Also joining the event were Ayala Centrio Mall marketing executives Miss Danae Solihon, Miss Carina Caragdan, Mr. Itos Felisidario, Centrio Mall manager Hammer Roa, Passionista CEO and radio lifestyle talk show host Miss Kitchie Uy, Special Project Operations Manager of Department of Tourism Region 10, Miss Maria Celeste Andres, members of the media and bloggers of Cagayan de Oro.
